Mitsubishi Motor Corporation has a long history of innovation in
Formed
in 1917, Mitsubishi developed the first Japanese diesel engine, four wheel
drive vehicle, bus and diesel truck within its first two decades. Following
the Second World War, Mitsubishi turned its attention to commercial vehicles,
developing buses which could run on alternative fuels, or electricity. At that
time the only personal passenger vehicles being produced were scooters. In the
60’s Japans economy picked up and there was demand for passenger cars. Since
then Mitsubishi has developed a great reputation for quality the world round.
They currently offer 10 models including estates and 4x4 vehicles.
