Rover was founded in 1904 and has grown to become the largest British car manufacturer as more and more makes have joined the Rover Group.
Like
many car makers Rover began by manufacturing bicycles and motorcycles. Then
they saw a niche for medium priced cars and began automobile production. They
have continued to cater for this market through the years, developing a
reputation as a quality family car, with a leaning towards the luxury side on
some of their higher end models. They currently offer four models, the 25, 45,
75 and a 75 estate as well as Rover approved used cars.
